The DLC went live today. I downloaded it and thought…gee this is sure is alot of money for what I am getting. I played through and I was right. The DLC is 2MB in size and its just different “modes” in the game. This is the kind of DLC that gives DLC a bad name. We should NOT have to pay to have capture the flag! I am willing to pay for extra levels, extra maps, extra vehicles. EXTRA modes that are built into the game regardless is something that should be free. ANYWAY long story short DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.
Wait until the Flood DLC comes out and they will give it to us for free!
On to the DLC – this is the Capture The Flag part of the DLC and its fun but only for a little while. I just but out a simple strat for this one and I had to play the computer since I couldn’t find anyone online who had got the DLC. Thankfully there are not that many stupid people out there.
Step 1: Build warthogs and spread them over the map.
REMEMBER – Your not building up an army to fight the otherside. You need to get the flag and geto to safety as quickly as possible
Step 2: Grab the FLAG asap
Step 3: Head to your base
Step 4: Surround the flag with cover for the alloted 2 mins
Step 5: Build an airpad for Hornets ASAP
Step 6: Make the hornets your primary as soon as you can as it is the fastest unit on the map.
Thats pretty much it for Capture the Flag. Sorry about my tone but I just don’t like getting ripped off and Microsoft did indeed rip me off today.

ARBITER RUSH
Step 1: set game type to deathmatch.
Step 2: play with Arbiter as your hero.
Step 3: build a temple.
Step 4: build ^ warehouses.
Step 5: when Arbiter comes out charge at the enemy with Arbiter in rage.
Step 6:(OPTIONAL) Build some suicide grunts and set global rally point to the teleporter.

I bought the DLC without thinking and I gotta agree with you. Waste. Like the strat vids, they helped out a lot. Slight variation on any covenant rush, I get four warehouses, upgrade leader (prophet reccommended) and warehouses. Then citadel, two hall/factory/summits. Works good with banshees, cause 4 blessed warehouses makes 200 supplies fast enough to pump out another banshee as soon one gets done. Good for 3v3, cause you can have a big army out in around 12 minutes. Supplies make all the difference. If you can get 5 or 6 boxes, the army starts pumping up to 2 minutes faster. Just an idea.
